NodeSlot
A DWORD value in each BagMRU key that links the browsed folder to its numbered view-settings key under Bags.
NodeSlot is a 32-bit value stored in a BagMRU subkey. Its number points to Bags\<NodeSlot>, where Explorer keeps the view settings for that folder. The root BagMRU key also has a NodeSlots value used to track allocation.
For analysis, the NodeSlot mainly helps you pair an entry with its settings, and spot inconsistencies: many Bags keys with no BagMRU entry pointing at them suggest the BagMRU trail was cleaned. The ShellBags Parser shows the NodeSlot of every entry in its details panel.
